  • Contract type: Permanent

Are you passionate about building high-performing teams and shaping modern data platforms that enable business growth? Do you enjoy bringing together people, technology, and business needs to deliver scalable data solutions? Then you might be the person we are looking for.

As our new Data Platform Manager, you will be part of the Digital & IT organization and play an important role in advancing our enterprise data and analytics capabilities. You will lead a distributed team of data engineers while working closely with business stakeholders, Enterprise Architects, and technology teams across multiple locations to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable data solutions. This is a great opportunity to influence technology decisions, develop people, and shape the future of our data platform in an international organization.

What your day will look like

In this role, you will typically focus on:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of data engineers across multiple locations, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning.
  • Guiding the development, operation, and continuous improvement of a secure, scalable, and reliable cloud data platform.
  • Establishing and promoting data engineering standards and best practices covering development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Partnering with business stakeholders, Enterprise Architects, and technology teams to translate business requirements into practical and scalable data solutions.
  • Overseeing the design and delivery of data pipelines, data models, and integrations from core business systems, including SAP, into the enterprise data platform.
  • Shaping the platform roadmap by identifying opportunities to simplify, modernize, optimize costs, and create long-term business value.

What you'll bring

  • Experience leading a data engineering, analytics engineering, or data platform team.
  • Strong hands-on data engineering experience, including designing and building scalable, production-grade data pipelines and modern data warehouse or lakehouse solutions.
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake, combined with strong SQL and Python skills.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business functions.
  • Solid understanding of data engineering practices including ETL/ELT, data integration, CI/CD, data quality, operational monitoring, and DevOps principles.
  • Experience working with SAP data environments, such as SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/BW4HANA, Datasphere, Business Data Cloud (BDC), or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), would be considered an advantage.
