About the role

Partners with business stakeholders, product management, architects, and data engineering teams to define, analyze, document, and deliver business and data requirements that enable enterprise data solutions and data products. Serves as the primary bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring business objectives, processes, data needs, and success criteria are clearly understood and translated into actionable requirements and delivery outcomes.

Acts as a lead contributor within a SAFe Agile delivery team, facilitating collaboration across Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, Quality Engineering, and business partners. Participates in Agile planning activities, including backlog refinement, feature decomposition, sprint planning, user story development, acceptance criteria definition, and solution validation to ensure alignment between business expectations and delivered capabilities.

Works with modern data platforms, cloud-based technologies, analytics ecosystems, and data engineering solutions to elicit, analyze, document, and manage both functional and non-functional requirements. Collaborates with technical teams to define data flows, business rules, integration requirements, data quality expectations, and operational processes supporting enterprise data products and services.

Produces and maintains high-quality business and technical artifacts, including business requirements, user stories, process flows, data mappings, data lineage documentation, acceptance criteria, feature specifications, and solution documentation to support successful delivery and ongoing support of data solutions.

Leverages AI-enabled tools and practices to accelerate analysis, improve documentation quality, identify requirement gaps, enhance traceability, support testing activities, and increase overall delivery effectiveness while maintaining appropriate governance and quality standards.

Facilitates stakeholder alignment, requirement prioritization, solution reviews, and user acceptance activities to ensure delivered capabilities meet business needs, support strategic objectives, and provide measurable business value.

How does this role make an impact?

- Based on internal and external customer needs, describes, prioritizes, and communicates requirements, ensuring recommended change is aligned to product roadmaps. May manage and execute long term road maps to drive the overall vision and execution of products.
- Actively manages product development and provides regular updates to all stakeholders. Frequently touches base with development teams and the business for sprint reviews.
- Applies design thinking techniques (e.g., user stories, wireframing, prototyping) in order to define product features.
- Uses team scrum/agile development techniques and tools for team collaboration, product testing, issue tracking and backlog management.
- Assists in developing business cases for product enhancements, establishment of the Minimum Viable product, Minimum Marketable Features, and product improvements.
- Identifies and highlights risks and issues, articulating the impact of these on the product delivery.
- Responsible for ordering backlog, clearly expressing the product backlog items, ordering the items to best achieve goals and optimize the value of the work the team performs.

Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.

Base Pay Range:

$94,400-$129,800

The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.

Incentive Pay:

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
