Data Research Analyst – Product Mapping (Temporary, up to 6 months)
Data is at the heart of Vesper's existence, and our Research Team provides the core of our product. We are adding new products to the platform and are looking for a Data Research Analyst to join us on a temporary product mapping project.
Your mission is to get new products onto the platform in a consistent, standardised way. By the end of the project, every product on our list is mapped, its sources are agreed with the Data Research team, and it has been handed over to Product.
What you will be doing
Map new products following our standardisation process (specification, origin, unit, currency, frequency)
Check new products against existing ones to avoid duplicates and inconsistencies
Prepare the list of sources for each product together with the Data Research team
Hand mapped products and sources over to the Product team and support them during implementation
Keep the mapping documentation up to date so the work can continue after the project
What you will bring
Currently studying or recently graduated (Bachelor's or Master's), or equivalent experience. An economics, business or science background is a plus
Available 30 to 40 hours per week from November 2026, for up to 6 months
A structured, detail-oriented way of working: you enjoy keeping data clean and consistent
Good Excel or Google Sheets skills
Clear written communication in English
Interest in commodity markets is a plus
What you get
A clear project with visible results: the products you map go live on a platform used by procurement teams globally
Insight into how a market intelligence platform is built, from sourcing to release
A fun, young and innovative atmosphere
A fantastic location in the city centre of Amsterdam
Great hangouts with brilliant people
