We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients for the position of Data Science Intern. About the Role

As a Data Science Intern, you will support data-driven initiatives by assisting with data preparation, analysis, visualization, and machine learning tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a practical setting while developing valuable industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured datasets.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Assist in developing, training, and evaluating machine learning models.
• Analyze datasets to support business and project objectives.
• Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate findings.
• Work with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and Matplotlib.

• Document project findings, methodologies, and recommendations.
• Participate in regular project discussions and progress reviews.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic proficiency in Python programming.
• Understanding of statistics, probability, and data analysis concepts.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
• Foundational knowledge of machine learning techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Required Skills

• Familiarity with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms.
• Basic understanding of Git or version control systems.
• Interest in artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
