About the Role

As a Data Science Intern, you will contribute to data-focused projects by supporting data collection, preprocessing, analysis, visualization, and machine learning activities. This internship will help you apply your academic knowledge to practical business problems while developing essential skills required for a career in data science.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, transform, and prepare datasets for analysis.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and meaningful insights.
• Assist in building, testing, and improving machine learning models.
• Analyze data to support project goals and business requirements.
• Develop reports, visualizations, and dashboards to present analytical findings.
• Work with Python-based data science libraries including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, and Matplotlib.
• Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks and project deliverables.
• Maintain documentation of analysis processes, models, results, and recommendations.
• Participate in team meetings, discussions, and project reviews.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of Python programming and data analysis.
• Understanding of statistical concepts, probability, and analytical techniques.
• Familiarity with SQL and database fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and concepts.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.

Required Skills

• Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.
• Basic understanding of Git and version control practices.
• Interest in artificial intelligence, predictive modeling, automation, and data-driven solutions.
