A fast-growing, well-funded blockchain intelligence company (recent Series C funding, $1B+ valuation) is hiring a Data Science Manager to lead one of its most foundational initiatives: connecting blockchain activity to real-world entities with unmatched precision and scale. The platform is trusted by government agencies and financial institutions globally to investigate and disrupt crypto-related financial crime.

This team sits at the intersection of intelligence, data science, and applied machine learning: a blend of technical leadership, product strategy, and people management for someone who thrives in ambiguity.

What you'll do

• Lead and mentor a high-performing data science team, balancing hands-on execution with strategic vision
• Drive technical innovation across a modern stack (Python, Airflow, BigQuery, Kafka, Snowflake) to scale data models and pipelines with precision
• Partner with engineering, product, and intelligence teams to turn raw blockchain data into insights that power customer-facing products
• Help set the market standard for accuracy and trust in blockchain attribution
• Recruit, develop, and retain top technical talent

What you bring

• 7+ years in data science/ML, including 4+ years managing DS/ML teams, with prior IC experience as an MLE or data scientist
• Full-stack profile: Python, modeling, and pipelines, not just analytics
• Experience with large-scale data systems (BigQuery, Snowflake, Airflow)
• Domain experience in fraud, fintech, or blockchain intelligence
• Startup or hypergrowth company background
• Master's or PhD in a quantitative field
• AI-fluent, using AI tools to accelerate daily work

Details: $210K–$230K base + equity.
