About the Role

We are looking for a Data Visualization Specialist to own the design and delivery of dashboards across our initiatives.

This role is visual-first. The quality, clarity, and usability of dashboards are critical. You will work closely with leadership and project teams to transform complex data into clean, intuitive, executive-ready visuals.

Responsibilities

• Design and build clean, high-quality dashboards with strong visual storytelling
• Translate business questions into intuitive visual layouts
• Build and maintain reporting data models and support basic data preparation and transformation workflows.
• Develop and support AI-powered solutions using Claude and other generative AI technologies to enhance reporting, analytics, and data visualization workflows.
• Develop dashboards using Power BI; experience with Tableau or Looker is a plus.
• Apply strong design principles around color, spacing, hierarchy, and usability
• Support GIS and map-based visualizations where applicable
• Partner with stakeholders to refine requirements and iterate on visuals
• Ensure dashboards are accurate, performant, and easy to understand
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear visual and analytical solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data visualization, BI, or analytics roles
• Strong experience with at least one BI platform (Power BI, or Looker)
• Hands-on experience using Claude or other generative AI tools to develop, automate, or enhance analytics and reporting solutions
• Demonstrated ability to create polished, visually strong dashboards
• Solid SQL skills and comfort working with structured data
• Familiarity with GIS or geospatial data is a strong plus
• Clear written and spoken English
• High attention to detail and pride in visual quality

• Experience supporting executive or client-facing dashboards
• Portfolio or examples of dashboards and data visualization work demonstrating strong visual and analytical skills.
