We're currently seeking a Data/Analytics Engineer to join our Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity for a data professional who enjoys building scalable data solutions, optimizing modern analytics platforms and enabling data-driven decision making in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.

How you'll make an impact

What you'll be doing

As a Data/Analytics Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing, maintaining and enhancing our data and analytics platforms, ensuring data is accessible, reliable and capable of supporting meaningful business outcomes.

Working across modern cloud-based data technologies, you'll:

  • Administer, maintain and optimize the organization’s data and analytics platforms, ensuring they remain robust, scalable and fit for purpose
  • Support and enhance cloud-based analytics environments, including Snowflake and associated data technologies
  • Design, develop and maintain data pipelines, data models and analytics solutions that support business objectives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Ensure data integrity, security, governance and quality standards are maintained across the platform
  • Identify opportunities to leverage data, analytics and emerging technologies to improve business performance and operational efficiency
  • Support reporting, visualization and advanced analytics initiatives across the organisation
  • Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues and implement continuous improvements
  • Contribute to data governance practices, standards and documentation
  • Work within Agile delivery frameworks to successfully deliver analytics and data initiatives

About you

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical capability with curiosity, innovation and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.

You'll bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer or in a similar data-focused role
  • Experience working with enterprise data platforms and cloud-based analytics environments, including Snowflake
  • Strong understanding of data engineering principles, data modelling, ETL/ELT development and analytics best practices
  • Experience developing and supporting data pipelines, reporting solutions and analytics environments
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality and information management principles
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience working within Agile and Scrum delivery environments
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset and passion for leveraging data to solve business problems
