Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server. Working knowledge of Oracle Database and Snowflake is an advantage. Experience in database monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance tuning. Knowledge of backup, recovery, database security, and access management. Experience with database migrations and platform upgrades. Familiarity with cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Basic scripting or automation skills using PowerShell, Python, SQL, Bash, or similar tools. Good analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills. 💼 How can you contribute to the team? Monitor and maintain database environments to ensure availability and performance. Troubleshoot database issues and provide appropriate solutions. Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and configuration reviews. Manage routine database maintenance, backups, recovery, and health checks. Support database security, access management, and operational best practices. Work with application, infrastructure, and development teams to resolve database-related issues. Support database migrations, upgrades, and platform changes. Assist with moving databases between cloud and self-hosted environments. Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. Identify opportunities to automate repetitive database administration tasks.
