Job Description
We are looking for a Databricks Lead with strong experience in data modeling, data engineering concepts, and business requirements gathering. Key Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements and lead discussions with stakeholders to understand business needs and data use cases.
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements, data models, and solution direction.
- Apply strong knowledge of Databricks, data engineering, and dimensional data modeling.
- Design and validate data models aligned with business requirements and reporting needs.
- Work closely with offshore architects and development teams to coordinate solution design, development, and delivery.
- Ensure technical solutions align with business objectives, data quality standards, and project requirements.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to business and technical stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Databricks and data modeling.
- Solid understanding of dimensional modeling and data engineering concepts.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience coordinating with offshore architects and development teams.
- Healthcare domain experience, preferably working with healthcare data and business use cases.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates should have a combination of business-facing technical leadership, data modeling, and Databricks knowledge. This is not a pure Databricks developer or hands-on architect role; the primary focus is understanding business needs, guiding technical solutions, and coordinating delivery.
Note: Candidates must be available to work in PST or MST time zones.
