Overview

The selected candidate will join a project team as part of a hybrid delivery model, collaborating with dedicated resources who leverage common tools, technologies, and methodologies to deliver client engagements effectively.

Work arrangement: Remote.

Salary Range: up to 4K

This role operates on US business hours, and strong English communication skills (written and spoken) are essential.

Required Skills

• Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts and DB2 LUW databases.
• Experience creating DB2 LUW instances and databases on Linux/Unix and Windows environments (on-premise and Cloud).
• Experience with Linux/Unix shell scripting, shell commands, crontab, and the vi editor.
• Database object creation, database object migration, and data conversion.
• Deep knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of query performance tuning.
• Experience in Logical and Physical Data Modeling.
• Knowledge of DB2 partitioning, PureScale, and Federation setup is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask; can set priorities and follow a timeline.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
• Ready to work remotely on US business hours with a flexible schedule.

Preferred Skills

• AWS cloud infrastructure and AWS RDS.
• Linux – Red Hat.

Responsibilities

• Support application development teams by understanding technical and business requirements, providing database services, and contributing to database design.
• Manage and maintain database environments, supporting operational stability.
• Perform database migrations to cloud-based platforms.
