ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a SQL Server Database Administrator to support complex database platforms in the telecommunications sector. This is a mostly remote opportunity based in Lisbon or Porto, focused on reliable operations, performance, monitoring and continuous improvement of critical database environments.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Administer SQL Server databases across system and application environments with high operational complexity.

- Analyze database performance and implement tuning activities across infrastructure and application layers.

- Diagnose, analyze and monitor operational issues affecting database availability, stability and performance.

- Support backup and recovery processes using established enterprise tooling.

- Work with service management platforms to follow incidents, requests and operational workflows.

- Collaborate with technical teams with transparency, ownership and a solution-oriented mindset.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Mid-level professional experience in SQL Server database administration.

- Proven ability to work autonomously in complex production environments.

- Strong analytical approach to performance, troubleshooting and operational monitoring.

- Professional working proficiency in Portuguese.

- Availability to start within a maximum notice period of 30 days.

- Responsible, collaborative and adaptable approach to delivery and continuous improvement.
