DBA/Data Analyst

Position Title: DBA/Data Analyst Work Arrangements: Remote; Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM Philippine Time Job Summary: We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented DBA/Data Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about using data to drive strategic decisions, with a strong foundation in analytics and a keen understanding of the education sector. The successful candidate will transform complex data into clear, actionable insights through analysis, visualization, and storytelling, supporting data-informed decisions across academic and administrative functions. Key Responsibilities: Analyze large and complex datasets using Python and SQL to uncover patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement. Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Excel, and Google Sheets. Present findings through compelling data narratives and visualizations tailored to various stakeholder audiences. Collaborate with academic and administrative units to understand data needs and deliver timely, relevant insights. Support initiatives related to student outcomes, institutional performance, and operational efficiency. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all analytical outputs. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in or with educational institutions, with an understanding of academic data and student lifecycle metrics. Proficiency in data analytics using Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and SQL (PostgreSQL or similar). Strong skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Google Sheets, and Excel. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience in presenting insights using tools like Google Slides or PowerPoint. Certifications in data analytics (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Google Advanced Data Analytics, DataCamp) are a strong plus. Key Attributes: Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
