Our Dealing Services team is growing, and we're looking for people who are interested in investing and want to build a career in financial services.

Every day, thousands of AJ Bell customers place deals to buy and sell shares and other investments. As a Dealing Services Agent, you'll be there when they need us, helping them place and execute trades and making sure they have the information and support they need to invest with confidence.

You might already have experience in financial services or a good understanding of investing and trading. Or you might simply be curious about how financial markets work and keen to learn. You don't need previous dealing experience to join us. We'll give you a comprehensive training programme and ongoing support to build your knowledge, confidence and expertise.

What you'll be doing

You'll support our customers through phone, email and secure messaging, helping them with their dealing needs while delivering the high standard of service AJ Bell is known for.

You'll:

• Help customers place and execute trades accurately and efficiently
• Handle inbound calls and respond to customer emails and secure messages
• Provide clear, professional support and help customers understand the dealing process
• Make sure all activity is completed in line with our service level agreements and compliance requirements
• Build your knowledge of investments, dealing and financial markets through our structured training
• Work with colleagues to resolve queries and deliver a great customer experience

It's a role where attention to detail matters, but so does how you communicate. You'll need to be comfortable speaking with customers, asking the right questions and providing clear information in a fast-paced environment.

What we're looking for

We're looking for people who are interested in investing, communicate confidently and are keen to learn.

You'll bring:

• A genuine interest in investing, trading or financial markets. Experience is helpful but not essential
• A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4 (A*-C), or equivalent, including Maths and English
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A professional and confident telephone manner
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
• Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• The ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within agreed service levels

Our ways of working

At AJ Bell, our people are at the heart of our culture. We believe in building strong connections by working together.

Our Dealing Services roles are hybrid, with 3-4 days per week in the office. For new team members, the first three months are spent full-time in the office. This gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the business, build your knowledge and get to know your colleagues as you settle into the role.

The role is 40 hours per week, with varied shift patterns on a rota basis covering Monday to Friday, 8am-9pm. This also includes some bank holidays.
