The Opportunity:

The Delinquency Management Solutions Lead serves as a senior technical lead and subject matter expert responsible for the design, administration, integration, automation, reporting, and continuous improvement of the business systems and supporting technologies utilized within Delinquency Management operations. This position independently translates complex operational, client, regulatory, data, and technology requirements into scalable solutions supporting collections operations, client implementations, borrower communications, payment services, reporting and analytics, workflow management, and system integrations. The role evaluates technical capabilities, recommends appropriate solution and integration approaches, and leads configuration, development support, testing, implementation, production support, and continuous improvement activities that strengthen operational performance, data integrity, compliance, client service, and business outcomes. The Senior Delinquency Management Systems Administrator collaborates with business leadership, Information Technology, vendors, consultants, compliance partners, and clients and serves as a senior escalation resource for complex operational, integration, reporting, data, and technology issues.

Day in the Life:

  • Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert for Delinquency Management platforms, integrations, automation solutions, communication technologies, and reporting systems.

  • Evaluate, recommend, implement, and optimize technology solutions, integrations, automation capabilities, and process improvements that improve operational efficiency, scalability, compliance, client service, and business performance.

  • Design, configure, maintain, and support system architectures, workflows, business rules, integrations, data exchanges, and operational controls.

  • Lead system implementations, upgrades, conversions, platform enhancements, testing, deployments, and production stabilization activities.

  • Manage and support system integrations using APIs, databases, secure file transfers, automation tools, SQL, Python, and related technologies.

  • Design, develop, and maintain reporting, analytics, dashboards, and data quality processes to support operational decision-making and client reporting.

  • Partner with business, technology, security, data, infrastructure, and vendor teams to deliver technology solutions and resolve complex issues.

  • Lead technology-related aspects of client onboarding, system implementations, platform enhancements, modernization initiatives, operational transformation efforts, and strategic projects.

  • Ensure systems and processes comply with regulatory, contractual, privacy, information security, audit, and governance requirements.

  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, change management records, testing evidence, and operational procedures.

  • Serve as a senior escalation resource for complex system, integration, reporting, and operational issues, leading root-cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.

  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, training, mentoring, and best-practice recommendations while managing multiple priorities, projects, implementations, and support activities.

  • Make independent technical and operational decisions within established governance standards and provide recommendations regarding technology direction, integration approaches, automation opportunities, and system improvements.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Experience:

  • Seven (7)+ years of progressively responsible experience in systems administration, systems analysis, business systems consulting, solution architecture, application support, technology delivery, data integration, or related technical disciplines.

  • Three (3) or more years of experience utilizing SQL, database technologies, reporting tools, and data-analysis techniques is required.

  • Experience leading client implementations, system migrations, platform upgrades, technology modernization efforts, complex enhancements, or production incident resolution is required.

  • Experience supporting enterprise applications, automation solutions, APIs, integrations, workflow technologies, or software-as-a-service platforms is required.

  • Experience within financial services, collections operations, contact-center technology, loan servicing, credit-card servicing, or another regulated operating environment is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of business systems administration, solution architecture, data integrations, automation technologies, APIs, secure file-transfer solutions, databases, workflow technologies, and enterprise applications.

  • Advanced SQL and data-analysis skills, including data investigation, validation, reconciliation, reporting, and root-cause analysis.

  • Working knowledge of Python and general programming and scripting concepts used to support implementations, automate processes, transform data, troubleshoot solutions, and collaborate effectively with development resources.

  • Ability to evaluate and recommend appropriate integration patterns and technical solutions involving APIs, databases, files, messaging, automation tools, third-party services, and enterprise platforms.

  • Ability to read and assess technical specifications, interface documentation, data mappings, code samples, error logs, and solution designs and to identify when specialized development or infrastructure support is required.

  • Ability to translate complex or ambiguous business requirements into technical specifications, solution architectures, implementation plans, process improvements, controls, and measurable outcomes.

  • Ability to independently lead complex technical initiatives, make sound risk-based decisions, manage competing priorities, and influence outcomes across business, technology, vendor, and client stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of data governance, system controls, information security, privacy, change and release management, business continuity, audit expectations, and regulatory compliance considerations.

  • Strong project leadership, vendor management, stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical, presentation, and technical communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

  • Ability to provide technical guidance, peer review, coaching, knowledge transfer, and work direction while promoting standards, documentation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Pay Equity

$84,900.00 - $108,200.00

Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
