Demand Planning Analyst (Remote - U.S.)

Position Summary
The Demand Planning Analyst will support forecasting, demand planning, inventory analysis, and supply chain decision-making activities across the organization. This is a highly analytical, hands-on role responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive inventory optimization, service levels, and operational performance.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with large datasets, building reports and dashboards, identifying trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, and Finance. A key component of this role is developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that provide visibility into demand forecasts, inventory performance, and key supply chain metrics.

This is a fully remote position within the United States and operates on U.S. business hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions to support business and supply chain decision-making.
  • Create recurring and ad hoc reports related to forecasting accuracy, inventory levels, service performance, product movement, and operational KPIs.
  • Consolidate, clean, validate, and organize data from multiple sources into structured formats suitable for analysis and reporting.
  • Monitor forecast performance and recommend adjustments to improve accuracy and inventory efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based analytical models using advanced functions, pivot tables, lookups, and other reporting tools.
  • Support strategic initiatives and special projects related to inventory optimization, demand planning, and supply chain performance.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and reporting insights to leadership and business stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Take ownership of recurring analytical workflows and support evolving business priorities as needed.
  • Analyze demand, inventory, and supply chain performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities experience preferred.
  • Partner with Operations, Procurement, Sales, and Finance teams to improve forecasting processes and inventory planning strategies experience preferred.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Operations, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain analytics, inventory management, or a related analytical role.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, data validation, and analytical modeling.
  • Experience creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to produce accurate work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with ERP, MRP, WMS, or inventory management systems.
  • Experience with SQL, Power Query, or other data transformation tools.
  • Knowledge of demand planning, inventory optimization, forecasting methodologies, and supply chain KPIs.
  • Experience supporting consumer products, manufacturing, distribution, retail, or logistics environments.
