📅 Contract Length: 2 months (through approximately December 17) There is a chance to become a FTE or be extended until that opportunity is available.

About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a leading global apparel and outdoor lifestyle company seeking a Demand Planning Analyst / Merchandising Analyst to support their Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining data analysis, merchandising strategy, inventory planning, and retail business insights to drive product performance across both eCommerce and retail channels.

What You'll Do

Analyze weekly and monthly product performance across retail and online channels
Refresh and maintain Excel reporting, KPIs, and performance dashboards
Create PowerPoint presentations with business insights and recommendations
Monitor inventory levels, sell-through rates, markdown opportunities, and exit strategies
Evaluate store performance and identify inventory rebalancing opportunities
Assess size availability, assortment needs, and product performance trends
Collaborate with store operations and merchandising teams to support business decisions
Present findings and recommendations to leadership

What We're Looking For

Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including:

Pivot Tables
Formulas
Data analysis and reporting

Experience in one or more of the following:

Demand Planning
Merchandise Planning
Buying
Category Management
Retail Analytics
Inventory Planning

Ability to interpret data and provide actionable business recommendations

Experience presenting insights to stakeholders and decision-makers

Apparel, footwear, or retail industry experience is preferred but not required.
