The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead field operations and customer delivery for a newly formed regional team, taking responsibility for how equipment performs once it is installed and running at customer locations. Recruit and develop an operating team, widen the footprint within existing accounts, and help set up the local operating base. The role blends hands-on work with equipment and people, customer coordination and regular travel to customer locations.

What you'll do

- Oversee performance at active customer sites after go-live, tracking service levels, uptime, safety and quality metrics.

- Hire, onboard, train and supervise an operations team, including shift patterns, staffing plans and coaching.

- Expand the scope of deployments within customer accounts while keeping operating standards consistent from site to site.

- Travel to customer locations to keep service running smoothly and strengthen client relationships.

- Help stand up the local operating base, including facilities, suppliers, equipment and standard routines, as an early member of the team.

What we're looking for

- 5 to 10 years of experience in operations, deployment or project delivery.

- Background running operations for emerging technology or complex equipment environments.

- Experience launching new products or establishing operations at a technology or industrial company.

- Experience training and managing operational teams, clients or sites, including shift-based teams.

- Comfort working hands-on with equipment, operators and customer teams.

- Ability to work independently and build processes from scratch in an ambiguous, early-stage setting.

- Based in Austin, Texas.

- Willingness to travel to customer sites, including extended trips.
