Matrix Recruitment is recruiting for a Depositary Operations Analyst on behalf of a well-established financial services organisation based in Limerick.

This is a 12-month contract with the potential for extension, offering a hybrid working arrangement and the opportunity to gain experience within a collaborative fund operations environment. The successful candidate will support depositary operations, fund reporting, regulatory monitoring and the implementation of a new global operating platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver day-to-day depositary operations services for funds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
• Assist with the preparation of fund board reports, monthly reporting and operational documentation.
• Review Net Asset Values (NAV), monitor investment restrictions, maintain breach registers and support on-site inspection testing.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues within established guidelines, escalating complex matters where necessary.
• Support the implementation of a new global operating platform, including system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and process improvements as required.

Requirements:

• Third-level qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline, and/or relevant experience within financial services or fund operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, with experience using SharePoint and reporting tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
• An interest in developing technical knowledge of fund regulations and depositary operations. Progress towards professional qualifications such as ACCA or a Certificate/Diploma in Mutual Funds would be advantageous.
