People Manager in the department of Purchasing.
| Job Tasks |
• Managing the Site Project Buyers to achieve QCD Targets.
• Optimize BHTC Standard Project Purchasing Activities, adapt them to changing environment to have an efficient and high quality purchasing process in the frame of BHTC PDP.• Control and supervise implementation of defined activities throughout all projects in his perimeter. • Ensure flawless launch of development projects at all involved suppliers and purchased components within his perimeter • Train, coach, motivate team members to develop best in class project purchasing team. • Define Standard Project purchasing procedures, such as acquisition follow up, RFQ follow up, PreSoco, SoCo, Hit Rate, ISIR follow up, handover to production site, ...) • Ensure implementation and respect of defined procedures worldwide. • Regular follow up of projects with project buyers to ensure flawless project launch and to escalate in case of necessity. • Budget and Capacity Planning based on BHTC annual budget and 5 years business plan (Headcount worldwide and cost center site) • Provide necessary capacity and competence within Project Buyer-team based on BHTC budget plan. Allocation of necessary resources to acquisition and development projects • Ensure professional preparation of Pre SoCo's and SoCo's • Ensure functional gate reviews are done according project schedule • Follow up and reporting of Target Hit Rate (Delta to target cost) for all projects and supplier nominations. • Leading the local project purchasing team by training, coaching, motivating of team members including objective setting, annual appraisal and regular follow up + feedback. • Managing the Site Serial Buyers and the Strategic Buyers to achieve QCD Targets. • Define commodity purchasing strategies for BHTC group in agreement with Site purchasing managers and Group purchasing director • Train, coach, motivate team members to develop best in class purchasing team • Define and implement necessary activities with support of Strategic Buyers and Site purchasing managers to achieve budget material savings • Ensure implementation of BHTC group purchasing strategy • Find, develop, release and manage global suppliers in line with BHTC group purchasing strategy • Manage local administrative purchasing activities • Lead and manage annual budget construction and global negotiations to meet budget objectives for BHTC group • Ensure implementation and conformity of all purchasing activities according BHTC procedures • Ensure implementation and conformity of all purchasing activities according BHTC procedures • Sharing of Lessons Learned and Best Practices with other BHTC sites |
