We are currently searching for a Senior Java Developer: The Challenge (Responsibilities) Recondition Java Spring services to comply with currency (dependency updates, Java version migrations). Develop microservices from initial requirements gathering. Design, implement, and deploy Java Spring microservices to production for the core banking system. Analyze and perform customizations in SQL and NoSQL databases. Your Profile (Requirements) Backend development experience with Java 17, 21, and 25 and Spring Boot 3.X and 4.X. Design and consumption of REST APIs. Experience with enterprise integrations and microservices. Knowledge of security in services, including the management of certificates and keystores. Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Redis, SQL Server, and DB2. Knowledge in Passport, WAM, and Apigee. Deployments in Kubernetes / Anthos. Log management, traceability, and troubleshooting. Experience utilizing Kafka. 3 years of proven experience in the Banking sector. High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery. Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering." Desired Experience in batch processes / schedulers. Knowledge of GraphQL. Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants. Languages Advanced Oral English: For seamless collaboration with global teams. Advanced Spanish. Special Notes N/A.
