Role Description The Design Engineer role is a full-time, hybrid position based in the Jakarta Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for partial work from home. In this role, the Design Engineer develops and refines mechanical and electrical designs for sugar and process industry projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and project specifications. Typical tasks include creating and updating CAD models and drawings, participating in product design reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on engineering solutions. The Design Engineer supports project execution by performing design calculations, preparing technical documentation, and coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders. The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and integrating automation and digitalization requirements into design work.

Qualifications

• Strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills for industrial and process applications.
• Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering for equipment and system design.
• Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles relevant to automation and control systems.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 2D and 3D modeling and drafting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline) or equivalent experience.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, and engineering drawings.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional project work.
• Experience in EPC, process industries, or automation projects is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies.
