Overview

Crocs is seeking a Designer, Collectibles to join the Global Design team and help shape the future of our rapidly growing Collectibles business. This role will create unique product experiences across footwear, premium Jibbitz™, bag charms, and other collectible expressions by translating licensed IP, brand partnerships, graphics, and cultural inspiration into compelling 3D products that resonate with fans and collectors. The ideal candidate brings a strong passion for collectibles culture, pop culture, sports, gaming, entertainment, and emerging consumer trends, with the ability to transform cultural insights into innovative product concepts. Thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this designer partners closely with cross-functional teams and external collaborators to bring highly desirable collectible products from concept to market while advancing Crocs' position at the intersection of fandom, storytelling, and self-expression

What You'll Do

  • Develop brand-right collectible product concepts across footwear, premium Jibbitz™, bag charms, and accessories that connect with fans and collectors.
  • Translate licensed IP, brand imagery, graphics, cultural trends, and consumer insights into innovative 3D product ideas and compelling collectible stories.
  • Create concept visuals, renderings, mood boards, and presentations that effectively communicate design intent to internal and external partners.
  • Design collectible products, graphic applications, surface treatments, packaging elements, and accessory details that enhance desirability and consumer engagement.
  • Apply industrial and product design principles to deliver products that balance creativity, storytelling, manufacturability, durability, and brand relevance.
  • Develop and refine concepts across color, materials, form, textures, finishes, graphics, and technical execution throughout the design process.
  • Partner closely with Product, Development, Marketing, and Licensing teams to ensure concepts are feasible, on-brand, and production-ready.
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while staying current on design tools, emerging technologies, cultural movements, and trends shaping the collectibles category.
  • Bring fresh thinking, curiosity, and a problem-solving approach to elevate Crocs' collectibles portfolio.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, Apparel Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of design experience in collectibles, licensed consumer products, accessories, toys, character-based products, or related categories.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and experience with 3D modeling or CAD tools such as Blender, ZBrush, Rhino, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate graphics, brand imagery, and licensed IP into compelling physical products and 3D develop solutions.
  • Strong understanding of industrial design principles, materials, product construction, manufacturing processes, and technical product development.
  • Experience designing across a variety of materials and finishes, including plastics, metals, silicone, enamel, resin, plush, or other collectible product applications.
  • Passion for collectibles culture, pop culture, entertainment, gaming, sports, streetwear, and brand collaborations, with a strong understanding of what drives consumer engagement.
  • Strong visual storytelling, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience in collectible toys, designer toys, licensed merchandise, novelty accessories, fan products, or character-based design.
  • Graphic design experience and familiarity with packaging design and branding systems.

Salary or Pay Range: $75,000 - $85,000

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Collaborator persona.
