Role Description This volunteer Designer role at Growth Hive is a hybrid position based in Karāchi, with flexibility to complete some tasks from home. The Designer will support the creation of visual assets such as social media graphics, presentations, simple web or app mockups, and brand collateral that align with Growth Hive’s objectives. Day-to-day tasks may include interpreting briefs, developing concepts, producing design drafts, refining layouts based on feedback, and preparing final files for digital or print use. The role also involves collaborating with team members to ensure consistency in branding and visual communication across channels. This position is unpaid and suited for individuals seeking practical experience, portfolio development, and exposure to collaborative, impact-oriented work.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to create visually appealing designs using common design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, or similar).
• Basic understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy, with the ability to apply these principles to digital and print materials.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to incorporate feedback, iterate on concepts, and deliver polished design assets within agreed timelines.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with a team, clarify requirements, and manage hybrid work (on-site in Karāchi and remote).
• Interest in learning, experimenting with new design approaches, and building a professional portfolio; prior coursework or self-study in design or related fields is beneficial.
• Reliable access to a computer and design software, and capacity to commit time regularly to volunteer tasks.
