Who we are

As a Detoxification Manager, you will lead a large-scale cybersecurity remediation and technology risk reduction program focused on identifying, managing, and eliminating toxic technology assets across the organization. These may include outdated, vulnerable, unsupported, non-compliant, or otherwise high-risk infrastructure and applications.

This is a senior program management role rather than a hands-on technical position. You will provide the governance, coordination, visibility, and momentum required to drive remediation activities across multiple business units, infrastructure and application teams, suppliers, vendors, and technology partners.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the end-to-end Detoxification / Security Remediation Program, ensuring identified technology risks are prioritized, assigned, tracked, and driven through to remediation or approved risk treatment.
  • Coordinate remediation activities across application owners, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity teams, business units, suppliers, vendors, and external delivery partners.
  • Establish and maintain a clear remediation roadmap, including priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and target completion dates.
  • Drive the remediation of legacy, vulnerable, unsupported, end-of-life, and non-compliant technology assets, ensuring alignment with security and technology lifecycle requirements.
  • Translate cybersecurity findings and technology risks into structured remediation plans and actionable workstreams.
  • Track large volumes of remediation data using tools such as Qualys, Archer, CMDB, ServiceNow, and Excel, maintaining an accurate view of scope, ownership, status, and outstanding risk.
  • Develop and maintain program dashboards, remediation trackers, capacity matrices, executive reports, and other management information.
  • Analyze remediation data to identify trends, bottlenecks, dependencies, overdue actions, and areas requiring management intervention.
  • Establish strong program governance, including regular working groups, status reviews, SteerCo meetings, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Prepare concise, decision-oriented reporting for senior stakeholders, clearly communicating progress, key risks, blockers, remediation performance, and required actions.
  • Manage program financials, including budget, forecasts, actuals, resource requirements, and capacity planning.
  • Work closely with technical teams to understand remediation complexity and dependencies while ensuring accountability for agreed actions and timelines.
  • Escalate significant risks, delays, resource constraints, and cross-team dependencies to the appropriate governance forums.
  • Continuously improve remediation processes, reporting, governance, and data quality to increase the effectiveness and predictability of the program.

What you'll bring along

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Significant experience as a Senior Program Manager, Security Program Manager, Technology Transformation Manager, or Remediation Program Manager within a large and complex organization.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale cybersecurity, technology risk, infrastructure remediation, application remediation, technology lifecycle, or transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity and technology risk concepts, including vulnerability management, legacy technology, end-of-life/end-of-support assets, infrastructure risk, application lifecycle management, and security remediation.
  • The ability to understand and challenge technical information without necessarily being a hands-on engineer or security specialist.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating complex programs involving multiple business units, infrastructure and application teams, cybersecurity functions, suppliers, vendors, and external partners.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage and influence technical teams, business owners, suppliers, and senior leadership.
  • Strong program governance capabilities, including experience with SteerCo, QBR, RAID management, executive reporting, milestone tracking, and escalation management.
  • Strong financial and resource management skills, including budget management, forecasting, actuals tracking, and capacity planning.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, with the ability to work with large datasets, reconcile information from multiple sources, identify trends, and create clear management reporting.
  • Experience working with enterprise security and technology management platforms such as Qualys, Archer, ServiceNow, and CMDB solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to turn complex remediation data into clear priorities and actionable decisions.
  • A highly structured and delivery-focused approach, with strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain momentum across multiple parallel remediation workstreams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex technology and cybersecurity risks clearly to senior and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a large enterprise, regulated environment, or global technology organization would be highly beneficial.
  • Relevant program/project management qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Cybersecurity or technology risk certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent would be beneficial but are not essential.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
