The Opportunity:

The Senior Developer is responsible for guiding the technical direction of projects and ensuring the successful implementation of technology solutions. This is a hands-on development role that combines technical leadership with active software development and delivery. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software products. This role will be leading technical projects for the COR.TRANSFORM portfolio.

Experience with Tungsten TotalAgility (Formerly Kofax), or a similar technology is required for the person to excel in this role.


This is a hybrid role with flexible onsite expectations, typically 1 to 2 days per week. New employees are expected to be onsite 2 to 3 times a week during their first three months to support onboarding and collaboration.

About The Role:

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver complex software solutions from concept through production deployment.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and reliable solutions that align with business and technical requirements.
  • Lead technical projects from planning through delivery, managing estimates, timelines, budgets, risks, and technical dependencies.
  • Establish and champion engineering best practices through sound technical decisions, design and code reviews, and maintainable, high-quality code.
  • Mentor developers and foster a collaborative environment focused on innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Improve system performance, reliability, and operational stability by proactively identifying and resolving technical challenges and bottlenecks.
  • Provide rotational Tier 3 support for business-critical 24x7 platforms, including incident investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex production issues.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements, align solutions, and communicate technical concepts effectively.

What You Need to Succeed:

Education:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms or programming languages is considered an asset.

Experience:

  • Experience with Tungsten TotalAgility (Formerly Kofax), on-premises or cloud (or related technologies)
  • 7+ years in software development with hands-on coding and solution design.
  • 2+ years in a lead role guiding teams and making strategic technical decisions.
  • Proven track record in managing technical projects from planning to delivery, including estimates and budgets.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and automation tools.

Skill requirements

  • Proficiency in languages such as VB.NET and C#.NET
  • Experience with Windows OS
  • Knowledge of database design and SQL
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Experience in designing and implementing scalable and reliable system architecture.
  • Ability to mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Strong decision-making skills, especially in technical and project-related matters.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in documenting technical solutions and project progress.
  • Nice to have would be knowledge of Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or UNIX
