Role Description The Senior AI Software Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable AI-driven software solutions that support clients’ growth and operational needs. In this position, the engineer will collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to define technical requirements, build high-quality machine learning and AI systems, and integrate them into production applications and services. Daily tasks include writing clean, maintainable code; conducting code reviews; optimizing models and algorithms; ensuring robust monitoring and observability; and improving performance across distributed systems. The role also involves mentoring other engineers, contributing to technical architecture decisions, and staying current with emerging AI technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

• Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or Go) and experience building production-grade software systems.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and deploying models into scalable, cloud-based environments.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems, including performance optimization and reliability best practices.
• Experience working with data pipelines, ETL processes, and SQL/NoSQL databases to prepare and manage data for AI and analytics use cases.
• Comfort with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, version control systems such as Git) for modern software delivery.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, and document designs and trade-offs clearly.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring or leading engineering teams, contributing to technical roadmaps, and establishing coding standards and best practices.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience in startup, consulting, or global distributed team environments is a strong advantage.
• Self-directed, adaptable, and comfortable working remotely across time zones while delivering high-quality results independently.
