Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary administrative support person for the Vice President of Development department and supplemental support to other staff in the department
- Manage internal Development department remote and in-person meeting logistics and coordination; oversee travel planning and logistics for fundraising staff for group meetings as needed

- Assist with tracking deadlines for internal report and communication deliverables on behalf of the Development department
- Work with AR Accountant to manage gift processing integration in RE and produce donor acknowledgement letters and other stewardship communications
- Maintain accurate and consistent document filing in the department's Sharepoint
- Serve as primary point of contact for Development department incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, triaging and prioritizing time-sensitive requests
- Support Vice President of Development with donor engagement tracking and Moves Management in Raisers Edge
Qualifications:
Required
- Education/experience requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, or related field + 1 year of applicable work experience OR
- Associate degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, or related field + 2 years of applicable work experience OR
- High school diploma/GED + 3 years of applicable work experience
- Applicable work experience includes any paid or unpaid experience in an administrative capacity requiring customer service, data entry, ability to prioritize multiple projects within strict deadlines, and coordination with multiple departments
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience supporting executives, fundraisers, or client-facing professionals in nonprofit fundraising or development
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor database systems (e.g., Raiser’s Edge).
- TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements
- Must reside in California
Preferred
- Mission-driven, goal-oriented, and highly organized.
- Ability to anticipate needs and work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm
