Position : Development Engineer (Component manager: die casting, plastic injection molding, and mechatronics) Location : Kusterdingen, Germany Field : Automotive Type : Full-time/ %20 Remote Tasks: Responsible for technical components in the development of eBike drive units; Focus on robustness, service life, NVH, and industrialization; Supporting components from A-sample to series release; Taking care of tolerance calculation, component design, drawing derivation, documentation, and clarification with suppliers; Commissioning validation samples and tests, interpreting test results, and deriving improvement measures; Consideration of schedule, quality, and cost targets; Collaboration in a cross-functional project team. Requirements: Completed university degree (master's/diploma/doctorate) in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering with a focus on product development, design engineering, or a comparable degree program; Supplier management with in-depth experience in the development of connectors, plastic components, and die-cast components, as well as the associated manufacturing technologies, such as stamping, drawing, and bending technology, plastic injection molding, die casting, and milling experience with Moldflow and FEM simulations; Very good knowledge of the CAD tool ProE/Creo and MS Office; Creative, independent, consistent, and structured way of working; Willingness to travel occasionally on business trips ~ 1-2 times per year Fluent language skills in German and English (min.
