The project focuses on the development of innovative optical products and technologies – from concept and prototyping through testing and validation to preparation for serial production.

The role combines product development, polishing processes, working with extremely hard materials, testing, and production process optimization in an international R&D environment.

Requirements

• Experience with process polishing
• Experience working with very hard materials
• Experience in technical product development
• Knowledge of optics, photonics, mechanics, electronics, or mechatronics
• Experience with prototyping, testing, and validation
• Good command of English and German

Responsibilities

• Developing optical products and technologies from concept to serial production
• Developing and testing prototypes
• Developing and optimizing polishing processes
• Working with very hard materials
• Conducting tests, validation, and analysis of results
