Is this job info correct?

About The Org Move for Hunger is a national nonprofit organization that mobilizes transportation networks to deliver excess food to communities in need. Operating in a remote work environment, Move For Hunger strives to create a culture of diverse, passionate, growth-minded professionals who work collaboratively and creatively to tackle the issues of hunger and food waste in the US. Our team is fun, innovative, goal-oriented, and driven to put more meals on the table for those in need. Founded in 2009, Move For Hunger has partnered with more than 1,400 moving companies nationwide to encourage customers to donate food when they move. The organization has expanded rapidly within the relocation and multifamily housing industries, with more than 600,000 apartment units participating in its programs. Move For Hunger also organizes food drives, fundraisers, and corporate employee engagement events. Our programs now engage farmers, distributors, consumer packaged goods companies, and logistics businesses to recover food donations at scale. Since our founding, our team of more than 20 employees has delivered over 90 million pounds of food, providing more than 80 million meals to communities in need. About The Role Move For Hunger is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven fundraiser to support the growth of our fundraising program. Reporting to the Director of Development, you'll help drive revenue across corporate partnerships, sponsorships, individual giving, events, and prospects while serving as an ambassador for Move For Hunger's mission. The Development Manager will play a central role in maintaining a healthy development pipeline, delivering an excellent donor experience, and building the systems required to grow individual giving. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys prospect research, donor communication, fundraising operations, relationship management, and turning ideas into well-executed plans. The successful candidate is comfortable engaging with donors and corporate contacts, presenting on stages across the country, managing many details at once, using data to guide decisions, and working independently in a remote environment. We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to pick up the phone, ask for support, and jump in wherever needed to help us reach our goals. What You Will Do Corporate Partnerships and Relationship Management Support the cultivation, solicitation, renewal, and stewardship of corporate partners, sponsors, and prospects. Manage assigned relationships and prospect portfolios, documenting outreach, opportunities, next steps, and engagement history in Salesforce. Research prospective corporate partners whose business goals, employee engagement interests, or social-impact priorities align with Move For Hunger’s mission. Prepare customized proposals, pitch materials, sponsorship packages, meeting briefs, and follow-up communications. Identify opportunities to deepen partner engagement through employee giving, food drives, volunteer activities, cause-marketing campaigns, and other mission-aligned initiatives. Coordinate sponsorship fulfillment with Development and Marketing colleagues, ensuring partners receive timely and accurate recognition, communications, and agreed-upon benefits. Represent Move For Hunger in donor meetings, partner calls, conferences, networking events, and community-facing activities as needed. Support the Director of Development with pipeline management, partner strategy, prospecting, and revenue planning. Individual Giving Implement and manage components of the individual giving program, including donor segmentation, communications calendars, stewardship practices, and performance tracking. Manage key elements of annual giving campaigns, including year-end giving, GivingTuesday, recurring donor outreach, donor renewal efforts, and targeted digital or email appeals. Conduct donor and prospect research to identify cultivation opportunities, potential major-gift prospects, lapsed donors, and individuals with a strong connection to the mission. Develop personalized stewardship and cultivation communications, including gift acknowledgments, impact updates, donor reports, thank-you messages, and renewal outreach. Support donor moves management by documenting gift history, engagement activity, interests, capacity indicators, and recommended next steps in Salesforce. Monitor individual giving data and campaign performance, including donor retention, average gift, recurring giving, appeal response, and acquisition results. Support the creation and promotion of opportunities for employees, volunteers, board members, and other supporters to become individual donors and advocates. Development Operations, Stewardship, and Strategy Maintain accurate, complete, and timely donor and partner records in Salesforce, including contact information, meeting notes, gifts, proposals, tasks, and relationship activity. Support gift processing, acknowledgment workflows, donor recognition, impact reporting, and stewardship activities in partnership with Development and Finance colleagues. Use Salesforce and related tools to track progress toward revenue goals, monitor pipeline health, identify follow-up needs, and report on fundraising activity. Collaborate with the Director of Development to identify revenue opportunities, implement fundraising strategies, and assess progress against personal and team goals. Work across departments to ensure development communications, deliverables, impact stories, and fundraising campaigns are accurate and aligned with organizational priorities. Develop clear internal processes, templates, tracking tools, and calendars that support a consistent and high-quality donor experience. Manage multiple evolving priorities with strong follow-through and attention to detail. Contribute to team projects and organizational initiatives as needed. Who Will Thrive In This Role At least three years of relevant experience in nonprofit fundraising, corporate partnerships or sales with a proven track record of independently owning relationship management, cultivating donor pipelines, and stewarding gifts through the full lifecycle. You are a hustler. Motivated by achievement of goals, quick learner, self-directed, self-starter-capable of working both independently and interdependently with a team. You place a high value on relationships: You know how to work for a crowd and are always full of energy and passion for the cause. You’re great at getting to know the people behind the accounts and have the contacts to prove it. You are flexible: You’re comfortable with several evolving and often overlapping priorities, thrive in ambiguity, and are open to new ideas when opportunities present themselves. You are a compelling communicator, born to network and negotiate. You possess the ability to interact and shoot straight with executives while building lasting relationships that create win-win partnerships. You are data driven. Comfortable leveraging and manipulating data to prioritize activity, monitor results, improve processes, and maintain accurate CRM records. Experience with Salesforce or another CRM. Familiarity with fundraising reporting, email marketing tools, and open to experimenting with AI. Essential Experience and Education Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience working in nonprofit fundraising, marketing, or events, with a proven track record of independently owning relationship management, cultivating donor pipelines, and stewarding gifts through the full lifecycle. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and SharePoint), Salesforce, and Canva. Comfort with remote-work tools, including video conferencing, Slack, and project management tools like Asana. Ability to travel nationally for donor meetings, conferences, team gatherings, or special events, as needed. Benefits: Health Care, Dental, Vision, Basic & Supplemental Life Insurance - including Dependent Life Insurance, AD&D, Hospital & Critical Illness Care, Retirement Plan (401k & ROTH IRA), Annual Professional Development Fixed Stipend; Open Vacation/Time Off Policy; Salary: $65,000 Base (Base + Bonus); Bonus structures may be available to compensate an employee as a reward for exceeding pre-established goals and benchmarks, once the overall revenue goal is achieved for the organization.
