We are looking for a
DevOps (Azure) to work in Lisbon (Hybrid) who's eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity!
What Is This Challenge About
- Own and evolve cloud infrastructure across GCP and Azure environments;
- Build and operate an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) to enable self-service for engineering teams;
- Enable product teams to ship faster and safer through automation, GitOps, and platform tooling;
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable Kubernetes environments (GKE/AKS), including networking and workloads;
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Git-based, PR-driven infrastructure workflows (no ClickOps);
- Ensure observability, reliability, and security across all platform components;
- Act as a platform enabler for engineering teams, treating them as internal customers;
- Contribute to incident management, postmortems, and continuous improvement practices;
- Produce and maintain clear technical documentation and operational standards.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles;
- Hands-on experience with Terraform (HCL, modules, remote state, providers);
- Strong Kubernetes experience (GKE or AKS), including day-2 operations;
- Deep experience in at least one major cloud provider (GCP or Azure), with willingness to learn the other;
- Experience with TACOS platforms (Spacelift, Atlantis, env0, Terraform Cloud, or equivalent);
- Experience with GitOps tools such as FluxCD or ArgoCD;
- Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, Azure DevOps, or equivalent);
- Strong understanding of cloud networking (VPCs, peering, DNS, load balancing, firewalls);
- Experience with observability tools such as Datadog (metrics, logs, APM, alerting);
- Strong understanding of IAM, least-privilege access, and JIT access models (GCP PAM / Azure PIM);
- Security-first mindset and familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001);
- Strong communication skills, ownership mindset, and ability to collaborate with engineering teams.
