DevOps Engineer

What we're looking for: This is a brand new role — created because we're scaling and we need someone to help us build and run the infrastructure that keeps CMap moving. You won't be inheriting a mess or maintaining someone else's legacy. You'll be shaping things from the ground up. Reporting to the IT & Infrastructure Director, you'll work closely with our engineering team to keep our Azure environment fast, reliable and secure. If you're a mid-level DevOps engineer who wants real ownership and room to grow, we'd love to hear from you. You will: Designing, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. Automating build, test and deployment processes to drive speed and reliability. Integrating code quality and security tooling — SonarCloud, Snyk, WhiteSource. Managing Azure infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates. Keeping dev, test and production environments consistent and well-provisioned. Building observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights and Log Analytics. Setting up alerting and owning clear runbooks and escalation processes. Joining the on-call rota as part of delivering a great customer experience. What you'll need to succeed: 3+ years in a DevOps or platform engineering role. Solid Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience - Please dont be too put off if you come from an AWS Background. Scripting in PowerShell, Bash and/or Python. Infrastructure as Code — Terraform, Bicep or ARM. Docker containerisation experience. Git / Azure DevOps version control.
