DevOps Engineer

Kiratech is seeking skilled DevOps, with the capabilities to work in a team, within an agile framework. Our DevOps plays a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of our applications and infrastructure. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us improve our automation, scalability, and reliability. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field. 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role. Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell. Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. Solid understanding of Linux system administration and networking fundamentals. Experience managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong understanding of application and infrastructure security best practices. Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Signoz, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: AWS, Azure, or GCP certifications. Experience with managed cloud-native container services like Azure Container Apps, AWS ECS/Fargate, or GCP Cloud Run. Experience with serverless architectures using AWS Lambda or Azure Functions. Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines or Jenkins. Familiarity with agile development methodologies. Your day-to-day tasks will mainly include, but not limited to: Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and processes required for the successful deployment and operation of our applications. Work closely with development teams to ensure that our applications are scalable, reliable, and secure. Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud provisioning using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Deploy, scale, and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application architecture for scalability and reliability. Implement and maintain monitoring and logging systems to ensure the health of our applications and infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application and infrastructure performance. Implement and maintain security best practices for our applications and infrastructure. Support disaster recovery, backup, and rollback procedures for our applications and infrastructure. Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24x7 availability of our applications and infrastructure. Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and upgrades to improve our DevOps processes and infrastructure. Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, deployment runbooks, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Provide assistance with internal or external IT support, including Microsoft O365 management and other necessary requests.
