About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced (Senior) DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely or in a hybrid setup from Ratingen or Frankfurt am Main. As a vital member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust DevOps pipelines and infrastructure solutions. Your expertise will help ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of complex IT landscapes, supporting the deployment and operation of modern cloud-based applications and microservices. You will also play a key role in integrating AI-assisted engineering tools and managing LLMOps platforms, pushing the boundaries of automation and intelligent infrastructure management.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of professional experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, or Platform Engineering. You should possess strong knowledge of DevOps platforms, particularly GitLab, and have hands-on experience with Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift 4, including enterprise cluster administration. Experience working with cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, and GCP is essential, along with proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI. You should be well-versed in Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Ansible and Terraform, as well as scripting languages including Shell, Python, or Go. Familiarity with container technologies like Docker, monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, and security frameworks such as BSI-Grundschutz and Zero Trust is also required. Fluency in both German and English at C1/C2 level and residing in Germany are mandatory.
Responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer at HyPlus Solutions, your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of tasks aimed at ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT environments. You will lead the design and implementation of scalable cloud architectures and automation pipelines, focusing on continuous integration and delivery to streamline development workflows. Your role includes configuring and managing container environments using Docker and Kubernetes, deploying microservices, and supporting AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and Copilot. You will be responsible for operating and enhancing LLMOps platforms, ensuring the reliable deployment of large language models within enterprise settings.
Further duties involve managing Linux-based systems, implementing security best practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will actively promote automation and standardization across teams, participate in 3rd-level support to troubleshoot complex system issues, and contribute to knowledge sharing through collaboration tools. Your expertise will be vital in analyzing incidents, handling crises, and maintaining high levels of system availability. Additionally, you will consider operational and regulatory requirements, developing and maintaining operational concepts, security protocols, and compliance documentation.
