As DevOps Engineer within Managed Services team you will be responsible for delivering, maintaining, and continuously improving the cloud-based solutions and technical environments supporting Experian Data Quality Hosted Aperture services. The role combines DevOps engineering, automation, platform enhancement, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to ensure services remain scalable, resilient, secure, and highly available.
You will drive reliability across the service landscape through proactive monitoring, infrastructure improvements, performance optimization, and continuous delivery practices.
You will be owning the reliability, availability, and operational excellence of managed services environments. You will apply SRE principles, infrastructure-as-code methodologies, cloud-native technologies, and automation frameworks to minimize operational overhead, improve service health, and accelerate product delivery.
The position also ensures compliance with Experian global standards, security policies, and governance requirements while contributing to the evolution of cloud architecture, DevOps standards, and engineering best practices.
You will report to Manager, Product Support and Managed Service.
What you'll do:
- Design, build, and deliver new cloud-based solutions and platform capabilities using AWS services and modern DevOps practices.
- Enhance and optimize existing environments, services, and deployment processes to improve scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable secure, reliable, and frequent software releases.
- Drive automation initiatives that eliminate manual effort, improve consistency, and accelerate service delivery.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability solutions to proactively detect and mitigate service degradation.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex production incidents, infrastructure failures, and performance-related issues.
- Participate in post-incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to increase platform resilience and reduce operational risk.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Security, and Support teams to design resilient architectures and deliver high-quality customer solutions.
- Apply security and compliance best practices across AWS environments, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting cloud infrastructure, automation solutions, and DevOps platforms in enterprise environments.
- Proven experience delivering complex technical solutions from concept through deployment and operational support.
