DevOps Engineer – Data & Analytics Azure

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with experience in Microsoft Azure to join an international project dedicated to the development of a cloud platform through automation, self-service and platform engineering solutions.

Requirements:

• 4 to 5 years of experience with Microsoft Azure, with a solid understanding of its key services and components;
• Advanced knowledge of Terraform and proven experience in implementing infrastructure as code;
• Solid experience with Azure DevOps, including Pipelines, Boards and Repos, as well as proficiency in Git;
• Knowledge of CI/CD and the automation of development, deployment and operations processes;
• Experience with data and analytics services on Azure, notably Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, and storage and database services;
• Knowledge of Azure Machine Learning and familiarity with AI services, such as Cognitive Services and AI Foundry;
• Advanced scripting or programming skills in at least one language, such as Python or Bash/Shell;
• Solid knowledge of Active Directory, network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS and HTTPS) and security principles, including SSL and network isolation;
• Experience in incident management and resolution, preferably in complex cloud environments;
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices;
• Develop, manage and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git;
• Ensure operational support and the continuous improvement of data processing and analytics services, enhancing their reliability, performance and security;
• Monitor services and manage the resolution of Level 2 and 3 incidents, using tools such as Datadog and Azure Monitor;
• Automate complex operational requests, including the creation of cloud accounts, service principals and the renewal of SSL certificates;
• Support data ingestion and processing services, notably Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Azure Data Explorer, Stream Analytics and Event Hubs;
• Work with storage services, databases and integration solutions, including Azure Storage Accounts, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL Flexible Server and SQL Server;
• Integrate security best practices, such as network isolation, certificate management and infrastructure protection, throughout the entire delivery cycle;
• Collaborate with international technical and functional teams.

Salary range: 49 450,00€ - 49 900,00€ annual gross
