Project Description The project involves a production system for managing clients and the life insurance programs in which they are enrolled. The Azure DevOps Engineer will support the Azure-based platform behind the system, enabling secure, automated, and reliable delivery across application and data services. Technologies Azure, Terraform, Azure Key Vault Azure DevOps, Argo CD, GitOps, SonarQube Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Databricks, Unity Catalog Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, PowerShell, Bash, Python What You'll Do Design, provision, and maintain scalable Azure infrastructure using Terraform, with a focus on modularity, reusability, security, and version control; Build, optimize, and support YAML-based Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, application, containerized, and data workloads; Implement and maintain GitOps deployment workflows using Argo CD for reliable application delivery to AKS clusters; Embed DevSecOps practices into pipelines, including SonarQube integration, code quality checks, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance validation; Administer and optimize Azure services, including VNets, Load Balancers, App Services, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, and Azure AD, following RBAC and governance best practices; Configure monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics, and troubleshoot build, deployment, and performance issues; Manage Azure Databricks workspaces, clusters, access controls, and Unity Catalog configurations, while automating Databricks deployments through Terraform and CI/CD workflows; Collaborate with architecture, data engineering, and security teams; maintain technical documentation and runbooks; and mentor junior engineers on DevOps best practices; Job Requirements 5+ years of experience in Azure DevOps, cloud automation, or similar roles; Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, including modules, workspaces, backends, and state management; Proven experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps Pipelines using YAML; Hands-on experience with Argo CD and GitOps-based deployments to AKS; Solid Azure administration skills, including RBAC, networking, storage, and cost governance; Experience managing Databricks workspaces and clusters; Experience integrating SonarQube into CI/CD pipelines for code quality assurance; Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm; Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python; Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and effective collaboration in cross-functional team; English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher; Availability to work the primary support shift from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM CST, with attendance at 9:00 AM CST morning meetings as needed to ensure team overlap; Nice to Have Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified (Azure DevOps Engineer, Azure Administrator Associate), HashiCorp Certified (Terraform Associate), or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA); Experience with Azure Bicep, ARM Templates, or Ansible; Exposure to Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse CI/CD automation; What Do We Offer The global benefits package includes: Technical and non-technical training for professional and personal growth; Internal conferences and meetups to learn from industry experts; Support and mentorship from an experienced employee to help you professional grow and development; Health insurance; Sports activities to promote a healthy lifestyle; Flexible work options, including remote and hybrid opportunities; Referral program for bringing in new talent; Work anniversary program and additional vacation days.
