## About the Role

Frontify is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to maintain, improve, and evolve its rapidly changing cloud infrastructure. The role focuses on system reliability, monitoring, observability, incident management, security, and scalable infrastructure.

Working closely with R&D, Engineering, QA, Security, Developer Support, and Deployment Support teams, the Senior DevOps Engineer will investigate infrastructure issues, improve deployment processes, and help establish strong DevSecOps and SRE practices across the engineering organization.

## Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain monitoring and observability frameworks for system performance, reliability, and early issue detection.

* Design, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure using DevOps practices.

* Own and evolve incident management processes, including on-call, postmortems, SLOs, and error budgets.

* Manage and optimize web servers, relational databases, and Linux-based systems.

* Manage Docker containerization and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and AWS ECS.

* Build and maintain scalable and secure cloud solutions using AWS.

* Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Security, Developer Support, and Deployment Support teams.

* Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and improve system deployment workflows.

* Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployments.

* Manage access controls, vulnerability scanning, and incident response processes.

* Support compliance with security standards and promote a strong DevSecOps culture.

* Document infrastructure processes and relevant operational procedures.

* Serve as a technical point of contact for Europe- and US-based teams on platform infrastructure matters.

## Required Qualifications

* 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineer, or Systems Engineer role.

* Experience with web servers such as Nginx.

* Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, including replication and performance tuning.

* Strong knowledge of Linux systems, including Amazon Linux, CentOS, or Red Hat.

* Experience with Docker containerization.

* Experience with container orchestration and management.

* Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, or OpenSearch.

* Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.

* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated build and deployment processes.

* Strong understanding of monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog or Grafana.

* Experience applying SRE principles, including SLOs and error budgets.

* Experience with incident management, postmortems, and continuous improvement.

* Understanding of cloud and DevOps security practices, including IAM, data protection, secrets management, and compliance considerations.

* Experience working in cross-functional and distributed teams.

* Fluent English communication skills.

## Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a SaaS environment.

* Experience with Kubernetes or AWS ECS.

* Experience with Puppet configuration management.

* Experience with security and compliance frameworks such as ISO and GDPR.

* Experience working with Developer Support and Deployment Support functions.

* Broad IT knowledge and an interest in shaping and defining the role within a growing organization.
