Here’s how you’ll help us stay ahead of the pack:
- Collaborate with Marketing and Client Service, Legal, IT and other stakeholders to define functional and non-functional requirements.
- Translate business needs and complex processes into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, test cases and technical requirements.
- Analyse current processes and design improvements that strengthen efficiency, scalability, data quality and client outcomes.
- Support solution design and delivery across digital platforms, system integrations, data flows, reports and dashboards.
- Contribute to product planning, roadmap priorities and the delivery of Digital Advancement initiatives.
- Lead test planning and UAT, coordinate bug triage and help resolve issues before and after implementation.
- Support change and adoption through stakeholder communication, user-centred design, training and ongoing support.
- Use AI tools responsibly to support analysis, research, process improvement, reporting and decision-making.
- Monitor emerging technology and recommend practical improvements that keep our ways of working competitive and effective.
- Significant demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst in a technology-driven environment, with a track record of delivering technology projects and solutions.
- Strong experience gathering and analysing requirements, developing user stories and acceptance criteria, and working with technical teams through implementation.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exposure to business process modelling (BPMN) tools such as Lucidchart or Miro, and process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Practical experience planning and conducting testing and supporting post-implementation activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and recommend well-reasoned decisions.
- Experience with agile project management tools and techniques, including Azure DevOps, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or technical certifications are highly desirable, but not essential for success. Postgraduate qualifications in particular are highly desirable.
- Experience with Salesforce, cloud integration platforms, AI tools (such as Copilot), or exposure to Genesys will be highly regarded, as will experience in a service-based industry.
At Shine, purpose really matters.
- It’s our clients, who summon the courage to stand up to injustice.
- It’s the communities we are part of and support every day.
- It’s our team, who champion what’s right and make this place what it is.
Here are some of the things we hope you’ll love about working with us:
- Connect and be you: Get the flexibility and benefits you need, and work alongside truly authentic people who care so much - about the clients, Shine and you. You’ll enjoy the safety and security of a large, well-established firm that treats you as a person, not a number.
- Achieve and grow: Start your Shine journey with our award-winning in-house learning programs, where you’ll find immediate connection and be set up for success. We provide real opportunities to step up and grow - within your role and beyond.
- Challenge and be challenged: We’re not here for “easy”. We want you to take your place at Shine and make a real impact. Question and challenge - that’s how we grow.
