This is a hybrid role based in Minneapolis, MN.

    Position Overview

    As the Digital and Retail Media Manager for CPG, you are the face of our Target media relationships. You lead day-to-day client engagement, consult on investment and assortment, and turn performance data into clear stories and next steps. You are curious, energized by data, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and invested in developing the people around you.

    What You'll Do

    Client Leadership and Strategy

    • Serve as advertising lead for Target PPC/search, digital shelf and other retail media programs.
    • Build retail media plans and budgets tied to client goals and agreed KPIs.
    • Lead client calls and monthly business reviews, owning agendas, follow-ups, timelines and next steps.
    • Consult on investment levels, assortment and promotional calendars; flag onsite opportunities and risks early.
    • Educate clients on best-in-class strategy and reinforce the value we deliver.
    • Create proposals and presentations that tell a clear, data-backed performance story.
    • Partner with sales, account management and, for full-service clients, the internal retail team to keep media aligned with business priorities

    Campaign Management

    • Own sponsored ads end to end: keyword research, setup, bidding and daily management.
    • Check budget pacing daily and manage monthly and tactic-level allocation.
    • Review campaigns daily; deliver weekly and monthly reporting and analysis.
    • Troubleshoot campaign issues quickly and see them through to resolution.
    • Handle ad-hoc report requests and customize client performance tracking.

    Optimization and Insights

    • Optimize targeting, keywords, bids and placements based on performance data.
    • Test and measure shopper behavior to improve results; deliver post-campaign recommendations.
    • Track competitors, algorithm updates and industry news, and translate trends into client-specific recommendations.

    Team Development

    • Coach and develop media analysts through day-to-day guidance and shared best practices.

    Required Experience and Education

    • 4+ years managing retail media sponsored ads, including client-facing account management.
    • Proficiency in performance marketing, conversion optimization and customer growth.
    • Experience with retail media ad tech such as Pacvue, Kapoq, Skai or Helium10; Roundel experience a plus.
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to digest, analyze and visualize large data sets in Excel.
    • Confident leading client meetings and influencing decisions with data.
    • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
    • Organized and detail-oriented; meets tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
    • Travel based on client needs.

    Compensation

    The expected base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses and other compensation programs.
