Digital Architect

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced Digital Architect – Data to support large-scale digital transformation, service innovation, and modernization initiatives within a complex public-sector environment. The Digital Architect will serve as a senior technical leader within cross-functional Agile product teams, providing architectural direction across data, software, integrations, application design, and digital services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Data Architect, Software Architect, Senior Data Engineer, or closely related senior architecture role.
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading cross-functional Agile product teams.
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading solution architecture and establishing overall technical direction.
  
• Minimum 4 years of experience leading domain modelling and database schema design.
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience communicating complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  
• Demonstrated experience working in complex enterprise environments.
  
• Strong architectural leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  

The initial engagement is 12 months with extension potential, primarily remote within Canada.

One important aspect of this opportunity is that the submission requires two project/assignment examples demonstrating your Digital Architect experience. Each project needs to show your specific architectural responsibilities, project complexity/scope, delivery approach, and technologies/architecture capabilities used. Recent public-sector, digital service delivery, modernization, or enterprise transformation experience is particularly valuable.
