Company Description ORIGYN Entertainment is a student-led volunteer studio organization dedicated to creating educational games for the wider public, with a particular focus on learners and students. The studio offers opportunities for volunteers to gain practical experience in game development, and various other skills while contributing to accessible, learning-focused interactive experiences. Team members collaborate remotely, using digital tools and processes tailored to a distributed environment. ORIGYN Entertainment is currently developing “The MUN Game,” an educational project inspired by Model United Nations that aims to teach the procedure of MUN, diplomacy, public speaking, and critical thinking in an engaging way.

Role Description As a Digital Artist for The MUN Game at ORIGYN Entertainment, you will contribute visual assets and creative concepts for The MUN Game Project. Some of the things that you may be working on may include 2D Asset Design, Concept Sketching/Drafting, Environment sketching Floor planning, and Accessory & Character drafting. You may create character illustrations, environment art, and UI elements, develop graphics and digital paintings aligned with the game’s art direction, and collaborate with writers and designers to visually interpret narrative and gameplay features. This is a volunteer, remote role that offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to build a portfolio while working with a student based and student focused team.

Qualifications

  • Ability to create visual content using Digital Art and Digital Painting tools.
  • Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design for game interfaces, assets, and promotional materials.
  • Experience with Storyboarding.
  • Proficiency with common digital art software (e.g., Photoshop, Krita, Clip Studio Paint, or equivalent).
  • Understanding of basic game art workflows, file formats, and collaboration with developers and designers.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage deadlines, and respond constructively to feedback.
  • Prior project or portfolio demonstrating relevant digital art and design work (academic, personal, or volunteer) is highly beneficial.
