Role Description

Austa Gregs is seeking a Digital Asset Portfolio Strategy Specialist to support research, portfolio analysis, asset allocation, and strategic initiatives across cryptocurrency and blockchain markets. The role combines digital-asset market intelligence with portfolio strategy, risk analysis, and DLT-focused research to identify opportunities and develop structured approaches to managing exposure across emerging digital markets.

The specialist will evaluate cryptocurrencies, blockchain projects, protocols, tokenized assets, and broader market developments while developing research-driven portfolio frameworks. The position is suited to professionals interested in the intersection of consulting, investment strategy, blockchain technology, and digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Research cryptocurrencies, blockchain projects, protocols, tokenized assets, and emerging digital-asset opportunities

• Analyze digital-asset markets, capital flows, liquidity, volatility, correlations, and market cycles

• Develop portfolio strategy frameworks covering asset allocation, diversification, exposure, and risk management

• Evaluate Bitcoin, Ethereum, DeFi, Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems, stablecoins, tokenization, and Web3 infrastructure

• Conduct fundamental and market-based research on digital assets and blockchain ecosystems

• Analyze tokenomics, adoption, network activity, ecosystem development, and competitive positioning

• Monitor portfolio exposure, concentration, liquidity, volatility, drawdowns, and market risks

• Research institutional adoption and emerging use cases for DLT and digital assets

• Prepare portfolio research reports, market intelligence briefs, investment frameworks, and strategic presentations

• Build and maintain digital-asset research databases, dashboards, watchlists, and opportunity pipelines

• Conduct due diligence on blockchain companies, protocols, digital assets, and emerging technologies

• Identify trends across decentralized finance, tokenization, stablecoin infrastructure, blockchain financial services, and digital-asset markets

• Translate complex blockchain and market information into clear strategic insights for consulting engagements

• Collaborate with consultants, technology specialists, researchers, and client teams on digital-asset strategy projects

• Track regulatory, technological, and market developments affecting digital assets and DLT

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in investment research, portfolio analysis, consulting, financial markets, fintech, digital assets, or blockchain

• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain markets

• Knowledge of portfolio strategy, asset allocation, diversification, and investment research

• Familiarity with Bitcoin, Ethereum, DeFi, stablecoins, Layer 1/Layer 2 networks, tokenization, and DLT

• Understanding of tokenomics, market structure, liquidity, volatility, and digital-asset risk

• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills

• Experience with financial research platforms, blockchain explorers, crypto analytics tools, or portfolio-management systems

• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills; Python, SQL, or data-analysis experience is a plus

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to translate technical and financial information into clear strategic recommendations

• Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field preferred

• Genuine interest in digital assets, blockchain infrastructure, DLT, and emerging financial technologies

Compensation

Salary range: SGD 130,000–150,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and role scope.
