Digital Consumer Marketing Specialist
Department: Marketing/Creative Services
Location: Norwood, MA (Hybrid)

Position Overview:
M.S. Walker Brands is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Digital Consumer Marketing Specialist to strengthen the digital presence of its wine and spirits portfolio. This role will ensure that brand information and approved assets are accurate, current, and consistently presented across the M.S. Walker website, major e-commerce and retailer platforms, wholesale communications, social media, and consumer email channels.

Working closely with Brand Management, Creative Services, Sales, suppliers, distributors, and retail partners, the Digital Consumer Marketing Specialist will manage digital brand information, improve online discoverability, support consumer engagement, and maintain strong operational discipline across multiple brands and platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Website and Brand Content Management
  • Maintain and update brand pages on the M.S. Walker website using WordPress or a comparable content management system.
  • Ensure brand stories, product information, tasting notes, awards, ratings, imagery, and downloadable materials are accurate and current.
  • Coordinate website updates related to new product launches, packaging changes, brand initiatives, and seasonal priorities.
  • Conduct recurring website audits to identify outdated information, broken links, missing assets, and opportunities to improve consistency and usability.
  • Apply basic search engine optimization practices to improve brand and product discoverability.
E-Commerce and Digital Shelf Management
  • Monitor brand and product content across major e-commerce and retailer websites, including Wine.com and other priority national and regional accounts.
  • Ensure product descriptions, bottle images, lifestyle imagery, ratings, awards, and other approved content are accurate and up to date.
  • Identify content gaps and inaccuracies and coordinate corrections with suppliers, distributors, retailers, and third-party platform contacts.
  • Support product launches by ensuring approved information and assets are available across relevant consumer-facing digital channels.
  • Maintain a recurring audit process and completion tracker for priority products and platforms.
  • Monitor competitive activity and evolving digital shelf practices within the beverage alcohol category.
Digital Asset Management and Wholesale Communications
  • Maintain organized digital asset libraries for priority brands, including logos, bottle shots, lifestyle imagery, videos, sell sheets, brand guidelines, and other approved materials.
  • Manage asset naming conventions, version control, expiration dates, and archival practices to help ensure teams use current materials.
  • Coordinate quarterly digital asset updates and communicate newly available materials to the M.S. Walker wholesale network.
  • Ensure distributor partners and field sales teams can easily access current brand assets and product information.
  • Respond to routine asset requests from internal and external stakeholders and route custom creative requests through the appropriate process.
  • Coordinate submissions of priority wines and spirits to leading industry publications, competitions, and rating organizations to secure third-party accolades that support consumer awareness and purchase consideration.
  • Track ratings, awards, and competitive recognitions and ensure results are incorporated across brand websites, e-commerce platforms, social media channels, sales materials, and distributor communications to maximize digital visibility and sales impact.
Social Media Management
  • Manage the M.S. Walker Brands Instagram presence in alignment with portfolio priorities, seasonal opportunities, and company initiatives.
  • Maintain an editorial calendar and coordinate approved posts, stories, and reposted partner content.
  • Schedule and publish content provided by internal teams, brand partners, retailers, distributors, and other approved sources.
  • Monitor comments, direct messages, mentions, and engagement opportunities and respond or escalate as appropriate.
  • Maintain appropriate brand voice, accuracy, and compliance across all social activity.
  • Track social media performance and recommend adjustments to improve reach, engagement, and follower growth.
Analytics, Reporting, and Cross-Functional Support
  • Prepare recurring reports that summarize results, content gaps, completed updates, and recommended next steps.
  • Establish and maintain project trackers, audit schedules, and documentation for recurring digital marketing activities.
  • Partner with Brand Management, Creative Services, Sales, suppliers, and external platforms to support launches and priority programs.
  • Stay informed about digital marketing, social media, e-commerce, and consumer behavior trends relevant to wine and spirits.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Approximately 2-5 years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, website management, social media, brand marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working in WordPress or a comparable content management system.
  • Familiarity with social media management, email marketing, web analytics, and digital reporting tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to maintain accurate product information across multiple platforms.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple brands, stakeholders, and deadlines.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and cloud-based file or digital asset management systems.
  • Experience in beverage alcohol, consumer packaged goods, retail, hospitality, or a regulated industry is preferred.

Pay Range: $60,000 - $75,000
