Our Mission is to challenge the status quo and reshape the way we plan, design, and construct the built world so Humanity can thrive sustainably. We partner with contractors, engineers, and developers/owners across the US and deploy our team of construction and technology professionals to improve project delivery. We support large projects across many sectors of the industry: Data Centers, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Tech, Education, Transportation, Aviation, Commercial Office Space, and Public Works. We love what we do, our VECommunity, and helping the best build better.

Overview

The Digital Delivery Project Coordinator (DDPC) supports digital delivery execution on a single data center project, administering the Digital Delivery program across cross-platform data so that project-level tracking, meeting records, action logs, reporting inputs, and information flow stay current across every digital delivery workstream. The role reports to the Digital Delivery Program Manager on a single-site assignment.

The DDPC is the central driver for project data flow and performance visibility in a multi-prime infrastructure environment. The role maps cross-platform data sources, administers Delivery Control System (DCS) inputs, and translates spatial, financial, and logistical updates into executive-facing KPI dashboards. The DDPC manages the single source of truth across the full project lifecycle, works from a philosophy of evidence-driven decision making, and can build and deploy custom automated tools to measure digital asset readiness from design through operational handover. By acting as the clearing house for information flow and preventing data fragmentation, the DDPC protects the critical path of the build and frees the Program Manager to focus on campus scope, program-level risk, and client strategy.

This is a project-level coordination role rather than a technical BIM or VDC lead role. The DDPC supports program scope but does not set it, and does not own overall digital delivery strategy, multi-campus program governance, final CDE governance standards, VDC coordination execution or model quality approval, OFE procurement decisions, commissioning strategy, final handover requirements, or executive client messaging. You do not need to be a BIM expert, model author, engineer, scheduler, cost manager, or commissioning lead. You do need to understand enough to recognize missing information, overdue actions, unclear ownership, and issues that require escalation.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Delivery Administration

  • Track required documents, models, and data uploads across the project.
  • Monitor late, missing, duplicate, or outdated information and chase it down before it becomes a blocker.
  • Maintain meeting agendas and issue accurate minutes on time.

Coordination, Meetings & Action Item Management

  • Maintain action item logs and keep overdue items clearly identified.
  • Produce project status summaries for the Program Manager and project team.
  • Administer issue and risk logs so blockers surface early.
  • Track deliverable status and make sure stakeholders understand what actions they own.

CDE, Document & Deliverable Tracking

  • Support naming, metadata, and folder-structure compliance checks in the common data environment.
  • Support version-status reporting for models and key deliverables.
  • Flag CDE compliance issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Review, phase out, and audit inactive users in the CDE environment.
  • Keep CDE and deliverable trackers current and reduce data fragmentation across platforms.

Reporting & Dashboard Input Support

  • Gather weekly updates from digital delivery workstream leads ahead of reporting deadlines.
  • Flag missing, stale, or conflicting data before it reaches a report.
  • Support weekly and monthly reporting packages, including dashboard updates.
  • Administer Delivery Control System inputs and translate project updates into executive-facing KPI dashboards.

Software & Technical Proficiency

Proficiency needed in the following tools:

  • Autodesk suite, including Forma, Navisworks, and Revit, at a level sufficient to navigate models and deliverables.
  • Common data environment platforms, with the ability to run validation checksets and work to the program SOP.
  • Excel, Smartsheet, or similar for trackers, logs, and spreadsheets.
  • Power BI or comparable dashboard tools for reporting inputs and KPI visualization.
  • AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, or ChatGPT to speed up routine work, with output checked before it goes anywhere.
Who You Are

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in construction project delivery, project coordination, document control, or digital delivery support.
  • Working knowledge of construction project delivery, BIM/VDC basics, CDE and document control workflows, RFIs, submittals, issue logs, project dashboards, meeting routines, OFE and vendor tracking, and closeout or handover tracking.
  • Ability to build and maintain spreadsheets, dashboards, trackers, and issue logs at scale.
  • Clear written communication, particularly in meeting minutes, status summaries, and escalations.
  • Ability to track action items and deadlines across many parties without letting items go quiet.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience on data center or other mission-critical technical construction projects.
  • Experience in a multi-prime or multi-stakeholder project environment.
  • Hands-on experience administering a common data environment, including compliance checks and user auditing.
  • Experience building reporting packages or KPI dashboards for an executive audience.
  • Experience building lightweight automated tools or validation routines to reduce manual tracking.

Soft Skills Required

  • Proactive identification of gaps, delays, and unclear ownership, with the instinct to escalate rather than wait.
  • Comfort working with both technical and non-technical teams and translating between them.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with a steady rhythm for recurring work and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working close to the project team and holding people to their commitments.

Hard Skills Required

  • Ability to navigate the common data environment and run validation checksets to the program SOP.
  • Working knowledge of the Autodesk suite, including Forma, Navisworks, and Revit.
  • Ability to maintain structured project data, including metadata, naming conventions, and version status.
  • Working proficiency across Excel or Smartsheet, dashboard tools such as Power BI, and AI tools used to speed up routine work (see Software & Technical Proficiency above).
