Digital Engagement Head of Service

National | Hybrid Working
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Contract Type: Permanent

Lead a national service. Shape organisational strategy. Transform how support is accessed across Change Grow Live.

Digital engagement has the power to remove barriers, extend reach and connect more people with the support they need.

At Change Grow Live, we're building on our ambitious vision for digital engagement and looking for an exceptional Digital Engagement Head of Service to lead one of the most strategically significant services in our organisation.

This is a rare opportunity to shape digital engagement across one of the UK's largest health and social care charities. You'll provide leadership for a national service that reaches across our organisation, influencing how colleagues work, how services engage with people, and how digital innovation can improve experiences and outcomes at scale.

Your impact won't be confined to a single team or programme. You'll shape organisational approaches, influence strategic priorities and ensure digital engagement continues to evolve as a powerful enabler of accessibility, quality and innovation.

For an accomplished senior leader, this is a genuine opportunity to create lasting organisational impact while helping more people access support in ways that meet their needs.

The Opportunity

As Digital Engagement Head of Service, you'll provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for our National Digital Engagement Service, ensuring it continues to evolve, innovate and deliver meaningful impact across Change Grow Live.

Working at the intersection of strategy, innovation and service delivery, you'll lead the development of a sustainable national operating model, ensuring digital engagement is embedded across services and aligned to organisational priorities.

You'll work in close partnership with senior leaders, commissioners, operational colleagues and external stakeholders, driving continuous improvement, supporting service excellence and helping shape the future of digital engagement across the organisation.

This role offers significant visibility, influence and autonomy, with the opportunity to lead organisational change, drive innovation and contribute directly to how Change Grow Live delivers its mission in the years ahead.

What You'll Lead

  • The strategic direction, delivery and continued development of our Digital Engagement Service.
  • Organisation-wide approaches to digital engagement, accessibility and service innovation.
  • The implementation of a sustainable national operating model that supports quality, consistency and performance.
  • Service mobilisation, implementation and continuous improvement activity across multiple services.
  • National governance, quality assurance, safeguarding and risk management frameworks.
  • Performance management, service evaluation and benefits realisation through the effective use of data and insight.
  • Strong partnerships with commissioners, senior stakeholders and external organisations.
  • A high-performing and geographically dispersed workforce, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and excellence.
  • Opportunities to strengthen engagement, improve access to support and maximise the impact of digital solutions across Change Grow Live.

Responsibilities

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking a highly credible and influential leader with the strategic insight, operational expertise and relationship-building skills to lead at scale.

You'll be comfortable navigating complex environments, balancing long-term vision with operational delivery and building alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

You'll bring:

  • Significant senior leadership experience within health, social care, public service or a similarly complex environment.
  • A strong track record of leading large-scale services, transformation programmes or strategic initiatives.
  • Experience developing strategy and translating ambition into sustainable delivery.
  • Expertise in governance, quality assurance, performance management and risk oversight.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, commissioners and partners.
  • Experience leading through complexity, ambiguity and organisational change.
  • Commercial and financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • The ability to use data, evidence and insight to drive decision-making and improve outcomes.
  • Above all, you'll share our values of being Open, Compassionate and Bold, bringing a commitment to excellence, innovation and positive change.

Why Join Change Grow Live?

This is a leadership role with genuine national reach and organisational influence.

You'll join an organisation with a strong reputation, ambitious plans for the future and a commitment to delivering innovative, person-centred services that improve lives and strengthen communities.

You'll be trusted to lead, empowered to innovate and supported to make a lasting impact.

Career Pathway

This role provides an outstanding platform for experienced leaders looking to broaden their influence and contribute at a national level.

You'll work closely with Directors and senior leaders, helping shape organisational priorities, transformation programmes and future service development.
