Digital Learning Designer (Maternity Cover)

The Digital Learning Designer role requires creative flair, expertise in learning methodologies, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Articulate Storyline to develop engaging learning materials that support key business initiatives. This role will also be responsible for administering Rise Up, our learning management system, leveraging its data and analytics to identify skill gaps, and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to explore new learning opportunities. Key Accountabilities include; Designing engaging, creative and effective digital learning solutions using the Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Vyond and Articulate Storyline/Rise Partnering effectively with subject matter experts (SMEs) and senior stakeholders to create learning initiatives that meet our business goals Collecting feedback from learners to evaluate success and continuously enhance our learning offering Promoting and marketing learning initiatives through internal communication channels Ensuring all materials follow brand guidelines and reflect our core values Staying up to date on both digital and instructional design trends Creating learning journeys within our learning managements system (LMS), assigning these to user groups and reporting on engagement and completion Leverage LMS data and analytics to pinpoint skill gaps and identify opportunities for new learning initiatives, ensuring programs are customised to support evolving business and employee development needs Skills and Experience (split by essential and desired) Essential : Strong skills in user experience and graphic design Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects for video editing and animation Extensive experience in instructional design and applying this to creation and delivery of materials Digital learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple learning initiatives simultaneously while ensuring timely and high-quality program delivery Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts Scriptwriting and voiceover creation Administration of learning experience platforms (LXP/LMS) Data analysis and problem solving Desired : Previous videography experience Experience using Vyond for character animation Experience using Camtasia for screen capture Knowledge of how to utilise AI tools to further enhance the planning, creation and analysis of learning Additional information In addition to a competitive basic salary, our benefits also include: Wellbeing Support : 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme and GP service plus an in-house Mental Health First Aider programme Additional Reward: bonus scheme based on business performance Extra Leave : Birthday off and option to buy 3 more days Family Support : Enhanced maternity/paternity leave Financial Security : Life assurance and pension scheme At PortmanDentex, you’ll be part of an inclusive, collaborative team environment where your development and potential are encouraged, and your new ideas and innovative approaches are welcomed. We offer a fully remote working model or hybrid working model that allows you to split your week between working from home, and our support office in Cheltenham. This will likely be 1 or 2 days a week in the office, with full flexibility around the days that work best for you, and the rest working from home.
