Digital M&A Senior Manager – Plymouth, MN - Hybrid
Daikin Applied is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital M&A Senior Manager who will lead and optimize the digital organizations activities required for the due diligence and post transaction phases of Daikin Applied Americas acquisitions, separations and partnerships. Operating with broad strategic direction, this role will represent the digital organization in enterprise M&A discussions, working closely with the Corporate Development and business teams. This role will collaborate with digital senior leadership, majority owned representatives, and business leaders to advance the Company’s growth agenda and ensure successful assessment and execution of new opportunities.

Location: Hybrid - Plymouth, MN
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead Digital Due Diligence – Lead the Digital organizations diligence work assessing target digital environments (e.g., infrastructure, security, data, and applications)
- Synthesize Findings and Recommendations – Coordinate cross-functional input (security, infrastructure, finance, HR, etc.), develop cost and risk assessments, and present concise diligence insights and integration/separation hypotheses to senior leadership
- Lead Post-Close Activities – Build and execute Digital’s integration and separation plans from close through scope completion, ensuring seamless alignment across infrastructure, applications, security, business systems, etc
- Partner with Daikin and target businesses, functional organizations (e.g., sales, service, manufacturing, finance, HR), cross-functional groups, and other stakeholders throughout the M&A process to successfully accomplish the business objectives
- Measure and Realize Value – Track digital synergies and performance metrics post-close to confirm value realization and continuous improvement against Corporate and Digital KPIs
- Develop the Digital M&A Playbook – Create standardized methodologies, templates, and repeatable processes to enhance deal consistency, speed, and effectiveness
- Institutionalize Best Practices – Capture lessons learned from due diligence, integrations, separations, and investments to continuously refine governance, tools, and execution approaches
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 8 years of related experience working on M&A projects at an organization or consulting firm
- Experience working in an IT organization, ideally with multiple functional areas (e.g., infrastructure, applications, program management)
- Program management experience, and experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience and comfort with uncertainty and the ability to define assumptions to draft plans and estimates
- Demonstrated experience executing due diligence, integration and separation planning, and execution across all aspects of digital work streams (e.g., infrastructure, security, data, applications (CRM, ERP, etc.)), and business processes
- Strong business process and strategic analysis skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, cross-functional collaboration abilities with digital and business leaders
- Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and influence senior leaders across functions
Your Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or advanced degree in Engineering, Technology Management, or related field
- Broad understanding and experience with digital work streams (infrastructure, security, analytics, applications (CRM, ERP, etc.)), and business processes (OTC, MES, etc.)
- Experience integrating and separating infrastructure, security, data and application platforms
- Experience in industrial, HVAC, or manufacturing sectors
- Natural translator between business and technology leaders — equally comfortable in executive boardrooms and technical reviews
- Creative team player with excellent relationship management skills and a focus on business results
- Experience in strategy development

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,800 - $171,700 plus a 15% bonus in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which these positions fall. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law. Safety-sensitive positions may require cannabis (marijuana) testing. All testing and employment decisions will comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
