Company Overview
Our client is a growth marketing consultancy on a mission to help brands, founders, and marketers reach and exceed their goals by relentlessly focusing on measurable results and maximizing marketing ROI.
Through business acumen, digital expertise, and surgical digital execution, we’re here to help our clients, drive demand for their products and services, stand out in a competitive marketplace, acquire and retain customers, and scale revenue profitably.
As problem-solvers at heart, we see challenges as opportunities to create value. Success comes from capitalizing on these opportunities, and digital is the premier channel to make it happen.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and talented Digital Marketing Designer to create high-performing visual assets across paid advertising and digital channels. We care much more about your portfolio, your design aesthetic, and your understanding of performance creative than we do about years of experience.
The ideal candidate understands how to design for conversion, knows how to leverage AI tools to enhance their workflow, and is comfortable using past performance data to iterate on designs. You will play a crucial role in shaping our clients' visual identities across Meta Ads, Google Ads, landing pages, and email.
Responsibilities
Performance Asset Creation
Design high-converting still images, animations, and video assets specifically tailored for Meta and Google Ads.
Edit video content (chopping up UGC, adding text hooks, adding fly-ins, and editing polished brand videos) to maximize engagement and lead generation/e-com sales.
Create short animated explainer style videos.
Design and format effective landing pages and email templates aligned with campaign goals.
Review past performance data with the performance marketing team to identify which creative concepts are working and use those insights to improve or modify future designs.
Project Management, Workflow, & Client Collaboration
Manage your own timelines meticulously, ensuring all creative deadlines are met without compromising on quality or detail.
Review provided creative briefs to ensure all required components for a project are present, communicating needs to the internal team or clients to acquire additional items, information, or assets.
Join select client calls to confidently present creative concepts, review designs, and take feedback directly from the client.
Incorporate AI design tools into your workflow to increase efficiency and ideation, while maintaining a strong foundational design skill set (AI should assist the job, not be the whole job).
Minimum Qualifications
Portfolio (Required): A link to a portfolio specifically showcasing performance ads and digital marketing creative assets in a variety of formats.
Language Requirement: Exceptional written and spoken English. You must be able to communicate effectively with internal teams and present clearly on client calls.
Channel Experience: Proven experience designing specifically for Meta Ads, Google Ads, and Landing Pages.
Technology & Tool Experience:
Design tools such as Figma, Canva, Illustrator, etc.
AI design tools for content generation.
Landing page creators within tools such as Hubspot, Shopify, or otherwise. (bonus)
Success in the Role
Ideal Candidate Characteristics
Performance-Minded: You understand the core components of a good digital media ad for lead generation and e-commerce.
Detail-Oriented & Organized: You don't let small details slip and you thrive in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
Collaborative Communicator: You can explain the "why" behind your design choices to non-designers, and clearly articulate what you need to be successful to internal and external stakeholders.
Success Metrics
First Month: Seamlessly onboarded, adapting to client brand guidelines, and successfully delivering initial ad creatives and edits on time.
First 3 Months: Taking full ownership of the design process and timelines, integrating smoothly into select client calls, and proactively managing your task queue.
First 6 Months: Able to confidently point to "ads and creative that worked," utilizing data to validate your design choices and iterating based on performance metrics.
First Year: A complete handle on all client creative needs, operating as a strategic creative partner to the performance team, and consistently producing high-ROI assets.
